As Education Chairman, P.K. is a leading voice for our teachers and students. Thanks to his leadership, we have fully funded public education for the first time in decades and our teachers have been rewarded with pay raises they deserve. Now, P.K. is working to make sure our schools are prepared to reopen safely after the shutdown. P.K. will always put the well-being of our students and teachers first.

P.K. is also leading efforts to pass legislation that would ensure early testing and detection of Dyslexia and improving Dyslexia education (finally recognizing dyslexia in GA law).

He has passed a law that requires coverage for hearing aids for kids.

P.K. has worked to make sure our students are safe with the Jeremy Nelson and Nick Blakely Sudden Cardiac Arrest Prevention Act that will help prevent sudden cardiac arrest in student athletes through education and early detections.
